RE: Rage'N trailers

This is/was the Factory website..http://www.rageninc.com/index.html I bet most of the people who don't check or don't know about these websites haven't a clue WW/Ragen are going down.... We bought our trailer over 1 yr ago... I have not gone back or heard from the dealer since.... However, there are 11 hrs away....But I would think most people would like to hear from their dealer on what to do in the future for warranty and other issues... Oh well... Camp when you can...:B Nick

RE: Warrior's assets siezed

Since most of the talk is of WW closing... Would I be correct in assuming that all Ragen warranties and service work is suspended from this time also...??? The closest Ragen dealer is about 6hrs away.... We bought our trailer in Texas ...13hrs away... We had some hitch work redone and the dealer reimbursed us for that... So we haven't had any large issues or needed service...." KNOCK ON WOOD " Nick

RE: 2 story hauler

I couldn't find a pic of actor Will Smith's RV Semi trailer...Here are the specs though... LOL Mansion on Wheels Alan Farnham, 10.11.04 Got a hankering to look down on hoi polloi RVs? Get an Anderson Mobile Estate. The idea came to him at 3 o'clock in the morning, says Ronald Anderson, Hollywood's trailersmith-to-the-stars. He'd been pondering how best to build a supremely roomy trailer--one with enough headroom to accommodate 6-foot-2 Will Smith and Smith's 7-foot bodyguard. He sketched it out on paper: a monstrous 22-wheel tractor trailer. Like other travel trailers, it pops out its sides for added room. But the pièce de résistance of Anderson's design--the feature that he later patented--is a second story nested inside the first. Push a button and the upper floor emerges, extruded by computer-controlled electric motors in 30 seconds. "It's like a giant Transformer," says Anderson, referring to the children's toy. This toy, the Anderson Mobile Estate, costs $1.8 million, weighs 40 tons, is 75 feet long and contains 1,200 square feet of living space.

RE: Help with a bill from local rv place to get our rv fixed.

Sort of OT.. but similar situation.. It sounds like what happened a few years ago to my mother... She was moving to AZ and hired a local moving company to load a U-haul and pack her belongings.. After the quote was agreed, they worked till the quote was fullfilled and then asked...."Do you want us to keep packing and loading for more money....".We have already used up the quoted price for labor and materials".... They were only half done....Go figure... It was pouring rain out also and they promptly left when she refused to pay more...So much for customer service....

RE: backing into a campsite

Don't forget to look at the the front of the tow vehicle- and overhead clearance when backing . Alot of people start to back up and then completely forget the front.. ,, Bam front end-or corner of truck-trailer collisions....trees..fences...etc.. Also, alot of us have diesels ...Nothing worse than trying to "communicate" over that and getting no where fast with the misses..:) Nick
